This one was highly experimental. The color palette to the animation. It turned out better than I thought it would. I still need to focus on other aspects of pixelart and draw things other than characters.

The animation is simple of course, so I would like to try something more complex. I picked up the habit of using greyscale for the first sketch, breaking things into parts, etc.

Remember opening it in a new tab to disable anti-aliasing! Created using Libresprite.

Looks great! If you wanna dip your toes in something more complex there's a lot of challenges like the pixel dailies, where you have a prompet to draw everyday, you don't need to do it all of them, but is a good way to pratice and will take you out of your confort zone from time to time

Oh yeah, you reminded me of those. I remember Septembit by Saultoons. The rose, and the swallow shattered my comfort zone. Sadly I didn't finish it, but it was pretty fun.
