Witty said that he understood people's frustrations with the health care system. Americans pay more than ever for health insurance, even as insurers are rejecting more than 1 in 5 claims.

Funny that he left out that his company is even worse than the 1 in 5 claims denied number. He understands, he just doesn't care.

Its false sympathy to try and save his ass.

That is the one universal weakness of the upper class across all history. When things come for them at first they present a united front, but if it continues they crack and reveal they only ever fought for themselves.

Very tone-deaf article. Spends more time praising Thompson than acknowledging the issues of the system that he perpetuated.
