Why is every single gun meme in existence like this?
Like there's never any joke, it's just gun as a punchline and white boys think it's the funniest shit they've ever seen in their life. I don't get it.
It's just a really easy way to make an absurd leap that shocks the reader.
So it's a "triggering the libs" kind of deal? I guess that makes sense, thanks.
Not really "triggering the libs", moreso just general "absurd/unexpected, therefore funny" kind of comedy
It's surreal humor, a form of humor predicated on deliberate violations of cuasal reasoning, thus producing events and behaviors that are obviosuly illogical. Portrayals of this type of humor tend to involve bizarre juxtapositions, incongruity, non-sequiturs, irrational or absurd situations, and expressions of nonsense.
No I didn't copy the first two sentences of a Wikipedia article to sound more intelligent, why do you ask?
Also the Wikipedia article in question uses both the British and American spelling of humor for some reason.
There's an entire bit in The Office where Michael Scott goes to improv and pulls out a gun in every single scene because he thinks it's hilarious every time. I think Michael Scott makes these comics.
