Crunchyroll Launches 24/7 Anime Channel in the US
(www.crunchyroll.com)
This is interesting. I wonder how this fits into a business model? I mean, how do they make enough money from this to justify the cost of operation? Does this require a subscription, or is this a free channel which serves ads and commercials? A bit of an unusual decision, but I can understand a little with the oversaturation of subscription streaming services and people getting nickel and dimed to death.
Crunchyroll largely restructured its own free tier last year. I think it's because of the ubiquity of services like Tubi and Pluto, which does have a bunch of anime available.
Anime; the one thing that gets us closer to each other and brings us together.
