I completely agree but it's a little hard for me to know exactly where to draw the line though. It's less hard for assholes profiting from his bile. They can print everything he says (and print money from that) and also stand on the flimsy argument that everything he says is newsworthy.

That was the path before the election. A lot of clickbait headlines linking to his platform that exposed his "alternate facts basis" for evil. Now the attitude won't make him go away anymore.
The thing is though his name in the spin machine is what he wants. There is an entire industry making money off that news. Its a post truth world my guy
You can't ignore the truth in order to banish the post-truth confusion. He gets his name in the spin machine because he won the presidency. Get used to it and don't pretend trying to hide from it is a successful strategy.
it's one thing if you need to check out of the news for your mental health but "don't feed the toddler attention" isn't a suitable approach to the presidency's use by the 78 year old whose orders will be taken seriously and literally.
The orange guy is the Kool-Aid Man of Overton's windows.
The guy is never going to run out of dead cats to grab headlines and avert attention from more important things.
My kingdom for ublock filter lines to remove posts with titles including "Trump" or "Musk"
Edit 2 days later: "Yourinstanceaddress - quotes"##.post-listing:has-text(Trump)

Don't feed the trolls.

I just wish social media wasn't focused on so much, when it comes to politicians and other high figures.
They should be posting statements of value on official websites and the like, yet instead a blimmin' tweet is the highlight of discussion time and time again. Why should I care? I'm not here to be friends with them.
If we waited for Trump to say something intelligent, we’d never heard from him again. Hmm…
I don't remember where I heard this, but it's stuck with me "Liberals take Trump literally and have never taken him seriously."
It's one of the stupidest most pathetic excuses downplaying the serious things Trump is saying. It's appropriate to take Trump seriously and literally.
You really fucking believe he wouldn't nuke a hurricane? Why would you believe that? He does all sorts of stupid things. Sometimes he's told no and the morons take it as evidence that he wasn't ever serious.
The incoming president has declared his intent to expand the borders of the US north and south. That's news. If you don't take that seriously and literally, you're just burying your head in the sand. Stop spreading this mindless denialism.
A lot of things he says, he's incapable of either doing or has the follow through of doing it. What a gross misreading of what I wrote. Your alarmism is a weak coping mechanism. Grow up.
You are fundamentally incorrect.
It cant

We had a brief respite from 2021 to 2022
Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing right now? The lack of self awareness is astounding.
Well, no, not the same thing. This is a meta critique.
