There is no way that this loop is ever going to end as long as this android keeps using the tractor beam. I don't see any other way out. He's gotta be stopped. And I have to stop him.

Groundhog Day's director, Harold Ramis, said he thought Bill's character was caught in a loop for about 10 years. Later he changed his mind (considering how much time it would take to learn all those skills) and revised it up to 30-40 years.
