Hi All,

Just wondering if there is any recommended accounting and budgeting software that I can self host and will connect to my bank to pull data, based in the UK

The Awesome-Selfhosted list has a ton of great options. I personally use Actual, which is a great alternative to YNAB (although it's in the early stages of automatic bank/transaction imports).

Another popular alternative on this subreddit is Firefly III, which I can't personally speak to as I haven't used it.

Good question, anyone who've personally used Actual Budgeting and Firefly III. Can you let me know your thoughts on them? Which one do you prefer and why?

Firefly is my self-hosted goto but nothing i found beats mint. I wish there was a self-hosted version of that

Wallet by budgetbaker (https://budgetbakers.com)! Awesome budgeting app no need to even self-host. The pro version is very reasonable, but for personal use you generally don’t require PRO version.

None with good mobile apps unfortunately, your best bet will be the ones already mentioned, Actual for simplicity, or Firefly for really detailed.
