Russians, especially Russian scientists that are some of the best on the planet, know full well what’s going on.
It doesn't matter how good of a scientist you are if you can't speak your mind freely
It is because we finally get better weather, warm winters, and nice hot summer. I'm not sceptical, I see that climate is changing, but I like it 🤷♂️
Do you like the increase in forest fires, flooding, droughts, influx of exotic diseases from warmer regions,... too?
Yeah, half of the global landmasses flooded, the other half being deserts that experience natural catastrophes on a daily basis and, as the ocean currents we know change or disappear completely, suffer from both extreme heat and cold periods, sounds just like a dream come true.
I live in a blessed region, without floods forest fires
You do know the people in affected regions will have to flee and immigrate to your so called "blessed regions", right? This will result in an unprecedentet refugee crisis
You guys are forgetting the increased scarcity of food and the loss of Wildlife. There's the chance it's a cascading run away effect and it only increases from now on.
But yes also hundreds of millions of people will have to migrate, temperature extremes will cause problems everywhere, and the world will become less habitable for a very long time.
Oh, so the whole global instability is ok, because you personally live in a region that is "blessed"?
So let me ask you this: can we also say that there is no housing shortage anywhere in the world, just because if you ask a few millionaires, they can't see a problem for them personally?
Housing shortage a little bit other thing
Anyway I just try to explain you scepticism of Russian people
meanwhile people living in already hotter regions are getting even hotter summers.
Just explain why we are sceptical
I'm not sceptical, I see that climate is changing, but I like it 🤷♂️
Just explain why we are sceptical
No. You just explain why we should explain a position that moments earlier you claimed to not hold.
“In more than half of the cases, my experience was related to skeptics. And if you're talking to a geologist, there is a 90% likelihood they are skeptics,” said a climate expert who requested anonymity in order to speak candidly. “Sometimes it was an aggressive stance, and sometimes just a lack of understanding.”
Because you just don't understand
I understand clearly, and you can't stand other opinions
It's a scientific fact, not an opinion.
To add, you can have an opinion about a scientific fact, sure. But then, you are wrong.
This will probably not stop them from keeping erroneous thoughts and opinions, sadly...
I can't stand people who apparently were raised on a diet of heavy metals (you)
You're fully entitled to your opinion, but we have to agree that your opinion is wrong.
It's as if you said your cat has seven legs. Yes you might be fully convinced of that, and sadly you might be able to impress some people with it, and it may make you feel special, give you comfort or whatever. But it's also wrong. You don't actually have a cat with seven legs. That's important as well.
I think it's more that this position is incredibly selfish and short-sighted.
