@PixelPilgrim@lemmings.world https://feedsin.space/ is a free service that will post items from an RSS feed to Mastodon.

I looked for a solution to do this with #Mbin ~6 months ago, but couldn't find anything anyone else had shared. I did find solutions that claimed to work for Lemmy, but I did not try to configure those. I'm a PHP developer building a community site for other PHP developer so Mbin is a better fit for us.

Going to look at this again soon.

I'm looking at rss feeds for my city website and they're links to were you can get other rss feeds ๐Ÿ˜‘. I would need that source code because I want to organize stores into appropriate communities

Be more specific in what you're looking for. I'm using software right now to post on Lemmy.

I have to figure that out. I could use scraper software that sees if a new link popped up or if a YouTube channel posted a new video

@PixelPilgrim
Friendica can automatically retrieve RSS and publish the posts. If the RSS feed tag contains these are added as hashtags to the post.

Do you mean a bot that posts news automatically from an RSS feed? Because both of us are using software for post to lemmy right now.
