It’s alarming how far into the article I had to read before I knew it was satire.

We're living in a post-satire world.

The Defense Department of the United States censored a story about the bombing of Hiroshima because the name of the mission plane was the Enola Gay.

An actual Congressman put in a bill to put Donald Trump's face on Mount Rushmore.

Are you really sure it is satire? After all, this is Texas they are talking about. It could actually be in the legislatures pipeline right now.

Fair point. I’d ask my brother who still lives there if there’s anything to it but it would just piss him off and I wouldn’t hear from him from months.

Texas, the place where measles is currently having an outbreak, is also now challenging the age old wisdom of putting fluoride in small amounts in common teeth related products to strengthen teeth.. by requiring ID checks.

Well.. I suppose they're definitely choosing a particular path to go down.

Joking aside, Utah has an alarming amount of dentists per capita and is trying to ban fluoridated water

I suppose with as many products out there with it included they either want more work, or they want people to have a choice about it. Or maybe a bit of both.

no, they think it's the devil

Well that's a shame.
