MODERATORS

who would have guessed that when you let companies profile you through your phone, tv, social media they can sell you things that are not really what you need but what lets you identify as a person who needs to carry 3000kgs on the regular when really your just a poser who takes suppliments at the gym while fingering your pretty rectangle searching for your next dopamine hit.

I suspect you'd find a cast iron correlation between dark triad personality traits and ownership of these things, at least in the city. There are so many reasons they're a bad idea, but nearly all of those reasons require a shred of human decency and compassion to be recognised. It started with SUVs, but the F150 and Rams in the suburbs are plain ridiculous and a sure sign that their owner has some super unpleasant traits.

Funny. When I think of a emotional support vehicle I picture a classic VW Beetle; every time I look at one I just can't help but smile.

Seeing an SUV or one of those stupidly oversized American trucks just makes me unreasonably angry. The Mercedes-AMG G-Wagon gets my pick for the most hateful car on the road, though.
