Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Israel would use “increasing military strength” against Hamas after talks with the group reached an impasse. Israeli forces launched large aerial attacks across the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning, in the first major strikes on the territory since Israel’s cease-fire with Hamas began roughly two months ago. Gaza’s health ministry said more than 400 people had been killed in the attacks, which raised the prospect of a return to all-out war. Bodies of Palestinians killed in Israeli air strikes.

The headline is from the NYT front page.

PATHETIC NYT or any news outlet would call this a war.

IT IS A GENOCIDE.

There is no war between two near equal sides, one side already controls the electricity, water EVERYTHING of the other. These basic necessities are by definition the things someone fights a war to gain control of, but the IDF already has complete unassailable control over those things, so there is NOTHING to fight a war about at a basic conceptual level.

This is and always has been about Genocide of Palestinians NOT WAR.

They cut that off a long time ago, so not anymore. They're just willfully letting the Gazan ruling class stockpile and hold the Gazans hostage instead of actually helping Gazan lives and self-determination.

How is combing civilians “war” ? And how can already bombing people “only signal potential return of war”. It’s Active genocide
