Umm, excuse me, but why are you giving legitimacy to a figure who began his career by having early christian missionaries murdered, and who them went on to become the "leader" of the Christian Church? Does it not, in any way, make you question what is going on here? Saul, who was MOST DEFINITELY NOT a disciple, should have been assigned the duty of caring for the left behind loved ones of the people he had murdered, in order to begin to atone for his sins. If you think he should be forgiven, then you are being an exemplar of the virtues of Christ, so good on you. But to become the LEADER of the church, who to this day is seen as a guide for Christian morality, does not somehow seem wrong to you in any way?

Did you go to high school with him or something? Why should anyone believe you over the early church?
