Hes a part of a broad conservative movement to fight the Constitution. From the Heritage Foundation to all the dark money supporting the right wing blogosphere, it's been a constant assault for decades.

Everything is going according to plan. Since the 1980's, evangelicals have been planning to remove the separation of church and state from the US constitution. When the economy is driven into the ground and Americans are desperate, Trump will declare martial law and suspend both the constitution and congress. He will rule by presidential fiat - just like his hero Hitler. He will then amend the constitution to remove the separation of church and state and poof: America is an Evangelical theocracy. There has already been talk of martial law. The narrative has been set, just waiting for the hammer to fall.
