The US is such a corrupt country. This was basically a kangaroo court, but with typical American-style pomp and self-absorption.

Just do what corporations do. Start a subsidiary, transfer all assets to that entity. Spin the entity off as independent. Then declare bankruptcy.

True, but I haven’t paid a parking ticket in like a decade so I’m pretty sure they can just “ignore” it like I do.
