Foreign students bring massive amounts of money to our economy. We shouldn't be letting them work until they graduate though.

They need to work to support themselves just like domestic students. Although I think the 40 hour a week limit is too high, considering they are meant to be in full time studies.

There are enough wealthy international students that we could not accept ones that need work to support themselves.

I can't agree with that. It drains those source countries of wealth while simultaneously restricting opportunity to just those with existing financial means.

That's how exports work. You can't import something without paying for it.

At least in this case some of them return and add value to their home economy by having better education than is available in their home country.

That may address the labor issue but regardless of wealth they still need to live somewhere.
