The tooth regrowth medicine is intended for people who lack a full set of adult teeth due to congenital factors. The team is aiming to have it ready for general use in 2030.

So, not for growing replacements for lost teeth.

They do cover other potential uses at the end of the article, but it does sound like it's limited to growing a potential third set and not some unlimited tooth regrowth treatment.
