What's the best way to search for Peertube videos as a viewer (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

I am aware of Sepia search however, when I first used Sepia search I use to be able to find all sorts of content. But now a days I can't find anything on that. But only some of the things. Is there a more reliable tool to search across Peertube instances for videos?

They added cross-platform search recently to local instances "vidiverse". Sepia search was also integrated into the Grayjay app.

I'm not aware of any degradation of Sepia search.

Like, I use to be able to search for animations, and there use to be a lot of new animation videos I could find, new uploads even. In like the last two years idk what happened, but that's my degradation issue i'm talking about.

I'd suggest taking a look at !peertube@lemmy.wtf and the pinned post about channels to watch. Sepia search should be finding content from among about a 1000 instances. If not working, you can try the search at PeerTube.wtf. It uses the same search index as Sepia.
