I've taken the next step in reducing Microsoft's presence in my life: I've just notified my mother that I'm cancelling my subscription at the next renewal and she will be back on the free plan.

It is not much of a sacrifice as I still have full access to all the programs through both work and uni, but I won't be paying them (which was primarily for my cloud storage). I might look at LibreOffice at some point, but the main thing I use is a complicated spreadsheet for my budget and it is highly likely something will break if I try it in a different program.

LIbre office is good. It can do everything Office can but the layout is a little different so you may need to just find where some options are. It's good to have Office in some form available as a backup

You can load the spreadsheet in libre office and check it out for free. Load up a copy in case it fucks with the original and ruins your life.

Wide awake at a quarter to five. Loving this cool weather, the heavy doona is so comforting.

The pumpkins have been hand pollinated and buds/leaves wiped down where necessary. There were a few more female flowers open so I hope I get some fruit.

I weighed the remaining foil pan down with a partial brick to prevent the wildlife water from tipping over but given my area I’m now wondering if that’s a good idea… one of the druggie fuckwits could impulsively throw that right through my window. It would be on camera so I could get them charged and have proof I wasn’t responsible for the damage but it’s still not a nice thought.

My stomach is so angry -_- Being stressed all the time just doesn’t help. Having another test today.

Next time I plant early 😔

I find they really started to get going when I gave them more fertiliser though.

[–] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 5 points 6 days ago

mine were planted cup day. I think yeah crappy soil and not enough fertilizer was my mistake.

The police won't do shit about footage of a junkie throwing a brick through your window.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 5 points 6 days ago

Probably not. I’ve done this dance before.

But I would need the police report and proof of it not being me so I don’t have to pay for damages or get kicked out.

Good luck with your test ❤️

Didn't sleep last night, at least I felt like I didn't

That will serve me right by making two brewed coffees yesterday.

This is going to be a long day and painful day.

I seem to have been cursed by smoke detectors. There is some humour in this one seemly being able to read a calendar.
