i can recommend aegis just like most people. bitwarden is a really awsome password manager, but you dont want to store the 2fa key there as well.

Aegis is great. It is FOSS, fully offline, supports backup. Moved over from Google Authenticator and never looked back.
I also recommend Aegis, I've been using it for years now, also available in F-Droid
Yes +1 for Aegis! They have icon packs too to make the entries stand out more.
FreeOTP+ in F-Droid. Very happy with it.
This one. Thanks for mentioning
+1 for Bitwarden
If you're into self-hosting, you can host the server yourself using Vaultwarden and get all the premium features for free. (make sure you implement a backup solution, ensuring that you don't lose your DB if your server dies is up to you)
Ente Auth and it's simple and straight. Foss.
I use Ente Auth, open source 2FA authenticator, with E2EE backup (which makes it nicely multi -device useable)
OTP Auth for iOS, works great.
I don't get it with these. If it's FOSS why would the country of origin matter? All source is available and anyone can freely fork it? You don't even pay anything in the first place so not like boycotting these types of projects has any effect?
The thing is... would you trust a software that is developed in russia (without a full code audit)? I think at the moment its the same with anything coming from the US.
If you can't audit the code then it's closed source and not FOSS.
That is not what i meant, what i wanted to say is: "Would you trust software from Russia without having completely audited the code?".
I basically never audit ANY software I use. I trust those in communities I frequent that say they have.
If people I do trust are saying they have checked the code and it's good, then yeah.

Foss and Amazing.
Nice icons, one touch copy and paste and easy export from Google Auth.
2FAS Auth works for 2FA
I used Raivo OTP for a while. It is open source.
OTP Auth works for me.
