What I found more amusing is that even if you pay for verification you still have a tweet limit. Imagine paying for a limited service of what was free 6 months ago.

What is the source for this? This appears to be something someone typed in their notes app.

[-] burndown@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 year ago

So we just don't do sources?

[-] morgan_423@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I mean, I've never been mad at their exclusion if it's something easily located in a ten second web search.

This is just incredibly delicious. I can't...

I don't know how much more popcorn I can eat, watching all this failure...

The self-owns will continue until perceptions improve.

Elon stiffs people as a business practice.

Paying a bill from a few months ago is not the same as renewing an annual contract. These may both be true

I thought I read something last week about Twitter and Google kissing and making up. Am I misremembering the story? What’s going on?

[-] wolfylow@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Somebody told him to go fuck himself and he failed to grasp the idiomatic meaning.

What a crazy last month this has been. Apparently, to qualify to run a social media company, your intelligence should register in the "if someone removed five IQ points from you, you'd be too stupid to breathe" range.

Wow, he said is trying to kill Twitter, huh?

[-] CrypticFawn@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago

I give anyone on Twitter with a Blue Checkmark the stink eye. Majority of them are fascists anyways.

[-] anon_cloud@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 year ago

Fuck this idiot

[-] Iwasondigg@lemmy.one 2 points 1 year ago

Dumbest genius by far.

[-] Thorosofbeer@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I've seen this posted in several places as gospel, but where is any proof that supports this?

It's certainly conjecture but it's not wild speculation. This comment a few above links to various articles about the individual pieces. The bullet points are attempting to connect the dots and while it's not "proven", it certainly makes a lot more sense of Musks' actions than I've been able to.
