I've been carrying a little packet of cough lozenges in my pocket for a while, because I will need them at the randomest times, but the package is getting a little beat up now. I'm worried it might rip open at some point.

What do you use to carry them around?

Altoid tins seem to work well for this.

+1 to this. Just wash it out before you put new mints in it. The Altoid flavor can be pretty persistent and mess with the flavor of whatever else you put in there. They're curiously strong, after all.

+1 on the small tin idea, but also this is what antique cigarette cases etc also really work well for, if you can find the right size, they fit perfectly in the pocket.

I know someone who uses a playing cards tin he got from a kickstarter campaign years ago, it's pretty cool too.

I stuff everything I need under my unusually tall meshback cap. It about 3x tall and is handy for transporting mints, wallets, phones, bananas, spare change, mice (and rats), dog poo bags, rice(and oats), spare shopping bags, booze, weed, threats, pleadings, memories, regrets, aspirations, fears, lice(and combs) and a random political promises.
