Uuuurrghhh. Monday morning.

4am and it's not cold by any means. Odd for the time of year but not complaining.

On Friday morning I read a headline that mentioned a high amount of flu cases even though it's not winter yet. So I booked in for the jab that afternoon. Sore arm but that seemed to be the only effects so that's good. I think I've had the flu jab around ten times in my life. I just do not want to get that ever again. And public transport ( ferry ) could be a damn good spreader of all manner of nasties.

Have a lovely day.

Flu shot is free again this year as well for those wondering.

At work the company offered it for free which is nice of them. It's a national company and I think it's not free in every state. Nice initiative from our Government for sure.

Read somewhere that the QLD and WA governments are the only ones offering the free Flu shots, but I haven't fact checked/read anymore into it.

Company I work for offers refunds for anyone who has receipt of a Flu shot which is nice. Haven't needed to get the cash back from them for a couple years now though. Always nice when an employer offers an incentive with getting vaccinated.

Yeah I agree about the company thing looking after people. Makes economical sense for them for sure.

On a different subject. I started watching Mad Men last week. I want something to watch for a while and something very interesting. Now all our tastes are different, but yeah all the reviews about Mad Men stack up. I watched two or three and I don't seem interested.

Yesterday I was having a lazy afternoon and watched a lot of season two of The Last Of Us. I'm not into too much Zombie stuff but it's not a bad show at all.

I started watching Lost the other week and gave up after about 6 episodes. Maybe I'm spoiled, I really don't know.

On a happier note, I caught up with a mate on Saturday that I haven't seen for over two years. He drove down from near Hervey Bay. I have known him for almost 20 years so that was really nice.

Let me know if you want a Plex hookup, it'll give you plenty of content to watch (spoiled or no)

Thanks bud. Might take you up on that.

I currently have Real Debrid and Kodi. Obviously I use a VPN also. The only time I've actually paid for a service was last year when I went working away. I subscribed to Netflix for a month.
