Hello everyone,

I have already tried twice in vain to buy the right RAM for my server. At the moment I have 2x16GB and I would like to have 2x16GB again at a reasonable price.

I have the following server: Fujitsu Primergy TX1330 M2 (https://www.ebay.de/itm/125750043244)

My currently installed RAM:

Memory Device
        Array Handle: 0x0029
        Error Information Handle: Not Provided
        Total Width: 72 bits
        Data Width: 64 bits
        Size: 16 GB
        Form Factor: DIMM
        Set: None
        Locator: DIMM CHB2
        Bank Locator: BANK 3
        Type: DDR4
        Type Detail: Synchronous
        Speed: 2133 MT/s
        Manufacturer: Samsung
        Serial Number: 3521AA0D
        Asset Tag: 1710
        Part Number: M391A2K43BB1-CRC
        Rank: 2
        Configured Memory Speed: 2133 MT/s
        Minimum Voltage: Unknown
        Maximum Voltage: Unknown
        Configured Voltage: 1.2 V

and I have just purchased the following RAM:

https://www.piospartslap.de/Samsung-2x16GB-32GB-2Rx4-PC4-2133P-Server-RAM-ECC-DDR4-M393A2G40DB0-CPB0Q

Unfortunately, the server does not boot and only beeps. The server only boots with the RAM that was already in the server, all other attempts are unfortunately unsuccessful. Before I buy the wrong RAM again, I would like to know what to look out for? Thank you

Xeon E3’s are unbuffered DIMMs only.

If only something like a search engine, existed, I could search for a manual. Fuck. What a life.

UDIMM DDR4 2133mhz, memory module from 4,8 and 16GB. Max 64GB. It can support ECC.

Ah, UDIMM is unbuffered DIMM.

Stick with the 16Gb you already have and it's fine.
