~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

Why does this gif have such a high framerate? 😵💫
Is it your Lemmy app or something? I find this happens to me often with Thunder, but opening the comment in a web browser, the GIF plays just fine there
I use Connect, but I have Voyager as well. Just checked Voyager and it's perfectly fine over there. Weird.
That said, there's been a lot of weirdness with my Connect app lately. At the moment, every single comment is a different font size and I've no idea what's caused it 😂

Recently moved back to Connect because something in Jerboa broke.
It's been fuckey since the last update. May have to try Voyager.
Having gotten used to Connect, it's been a bit of a shift to get used to Voyager, but overall I can absolutely feel that this is the better app.
I'm not 100% in the know on what features the individual apps have so I don't know if there's a niche that Connect fills that Voyager doesn't. I haven't dug too deeply into all of Voyager's options yet though.
Also Voyager = Star Trek, so you have to assume it's good given Lemmy's obsession with Star Trek 👍
On Connect it's not even playing the whole thing, just like the last 3 frames lol
