This seems to be localized to a single county in NY from what I could tell. Always good to go after real cases of election fraud, but the headline is a bit misleading if this really is just a single county.

If the accusation are accurate, then the amount that is confirmed by a comically and flagrantly obvious amount of blatant fraud is limited to one county that we know of.

Sure, it could be that one county and no other. Why are you assuming that it definitely is limited to just that county though?

Fearmongering about election fraud is the Republican party's job. Until there is evidence of this being a consistent pattern across the country, there is no reason for me to assume it's a problem that isn't just in that county.

2020 did happen though, so it wouldn't surprise me too much. But there isn't enough evidence of that yet in 2024 to start throwing out accusations.

Yea but that's not what I hope is the case. How could you kill hope, you monster?

I wonder, just as a thought exercise, what would happen if they ended up decertifying the election. I would presume some do-over eventually, if anyone could trust the system any more, but in the meantime do you just rewind the last couple months and decide it didn't happen?

it's unprecedented, so I don't think they would unwind anything done by the current admin. If a new election takes place, whoever wins the election would pick up the pieces where they lie. I could also see the Trump admin just accelerating their fascist coup to prevent an election from taking place.

While I doubt that would happen, my guess is either nothing happens, ot DJT is removed and the next successor (Vance) takes his place. I can't imagine them doing a new election for any reason without a new amendment.

It is the judgment of this Court that once an individual, having secured the office of the presidency by whatever means, including fraud, subterfuge, or concealment, has been duly sworn into said office, the legitimacy of their tenure is thereby affirmed. The Constitution, as interpreted herein, offers no mechanism for undoing the oath once administered, regardless of the integrity of the path taken to reach it.

Once sworn, always sworn. No take-backs.
