We had 100-150 people, mostly middle aged. We had more people honking in support than shouting “TRUMP!” or driving by waving trump flags.

Anyone else go to protests today ?

I live in a tiny red town. We had a dozen protesters show up today. We occupied one of the three blocks downtown.

We had about ten trucks go by that shouted or "rolled coal" on the protesters. Someone came by and dropped of bottled water for us. Lots of people waving at us.

Rolling coal has to be one of dumbest things, imo.

"Look how much money I'm wasting and how much carbon I'm depositing into my engine! Truly, you're the idiot here!"

Yes, we had a couple of those at ours too, and I thought the same thing.

It's hilarious how it's literally illegal **in the entire contential US ** and never prosecuted or penalized lol.

I'm near a large city, and while I avoided down town, there were even protests in the suburb city centers, which I found impressive.

I went to one in my area on the east coast, it was good, similar amount of people, and only a few idiots, mostly happy people honking for us and waving american flags out their driver side windows. There were a couple lifted trucks speeding off in a small dick award hissy fit, one guy who flipped us off as he drove past (I flipped him off back), and an old man walking behind us asking how much we were paid to be there; he got shittalked back and then left. Nobody's having maga peoples' shit right now.

i love how protesting in non metropolitan america apperantly means protesting on a freeway and watching how the cars react

It's more a city hall thing in my experience

Agreed. Not sure what this other person is talking about.

We were in front of the city hall on the main drag of the town, not near the freeway. We also marched around, through the farmers market and car show that was going on. People going to places in the town center also commented.
