I like your ideas. Unfortunately, idk if Balkinization would be an option, especially under this regime and with states like California a being huge part of the nationβs overall budget. This would give some areas huge advantages (west coast) and some areas very little to work with (south). Also, with the political divisions right now, I wonder if the nation states would be able to compromise with regards to trade and immigration/tourism. It would be so nice if we could just break up like that. Sometimes a break up is the healthiest thing you can do for all parties involvedβ¦

Oh, I understand what you mean now - since the laws in some states are so strict in this regard, that makes it dangerous to go live there as a woman.
I have heard there are states trying to track and prosecute women for leaving their home state to get an abortion, too.
