Is SMS used at all outside the US? No point putting effort into something so outdated

Most of whom are also not using SMS. Most people will just use their default app which would mean RCS for Android and whatever Apple uses for iMessage(?)

New Zealand still uses SMS predominantly.

Closest option is watomatic but it only works with whatsapp and Facebook messenger. There are talks about expanding it to support other platforms
