They look very lightly battered, almost as though there's no point in bothering. I'd keep the batter for my sausages, personally.

The light doesn't do them justice sometimes they have more batter on but they're always so crispy and crunchy

They exist minutes from my front door.

I like a few but after a while they feel a bit much...

Give me good old chippy chips with vinegar and salt and I'm a happy man.

This has got to be in Scotland, right? I haven't even heard of battered chips before!

We have them in the Cotswolds - they're a nationwide experiment in cardiac endangerment!

I can say fairly confidently that although I didn't even know these could exist as a thing until just now, I would definitely enjoy them.

Now I need to find somewhere that does them.

You could’ve just said you were travelling through the country from X to Y and came across this chip shoppe. No clue why you chose to tell everyone you live near it

Life's no fun if you can't gatekeep your local chippy.

Who would’ve thought you enjoy french fries. But honestly, I didn’t even know pattered chips were a thing.

They're really popular in the Black Country! I've had some really bad battered chips before where they're too greasy/soggy but good battered chips are amazing
