This is gonna sound stupid but I have a collapsed pillow that's like 10+ years old and I love it

Wait, I thought they "didn't exist"? Now they exist but are "irrelevant"?

Great job Italy! Don't let genociders intimidate you

When little kids can't even play simple pranks in your country without being shot, your country has serious issues that desperately need addressing (but won't because the administration is so corrupt)

A pub crawl, but it's chippies

You can't blame people for wanting to have hopes about good things.

All of mine have been really positive but I'm sorry you had bad experiences

It's not even Halloween yet, it's like as soon as August rolls around people can't wait for the year to end

Nothing says "we're the good guys" like being allied with genociders and hacking people's phones! /s

I can never understand people who don't regularly wash/shower by choice. I feel like a swamp if I don't shower for a day (had to go 4 days without showering after an operation once, it was hell)

Please know that when I say chav, I'm not saying it in a derogatory way, I mean it in the same way I mean "goth", "punk", etc and I come from both the same background and same town as them. The nicest interactions I've ever had with strangers all involved people you'd "chavs". When I was in school one of them defended me from bullies, and after that, whenever we crossed paths in the hallway he'd yell "saaafe man!" while reaching out to fist bump me.

Another one a few years ago involved me having my bike lock quite literally crumble as I tried to turn the key to unlock it, so I had my bike stuck locked to a pole. Two men who you'd likely call chavs approached out of nowhere and tried to free my bike, one of them ran all the way home to get cable cutters. 3ish years ago I was feeling pretty down and I think it showed since two men, again who you'd likely call chavs based on their look and how they talked, asked me if I was alright and told me to follow them if I wanted to chat so I did. They were so kind to me and I walked away feeling a lot better.

But I'm supposed to believe these people are "dangerous"? I don't buy that. Where'd that idea come from? Anyone have experiences similar to mine?

Obviously I'm talking about two adults, I'm just wondering when it goes from okay to "a bit iffy", either older or younger

Asking because I'm one of those women nd I'm wondering how normal this is?

When I was 17 in school (sixth form) there were some girls who kept chatting shit about me behind my back. there was this tall, very loud guy who went by "D" who'd always seem to be shouting things at random people in the hallways so I tried to avoid crossing paths with him. one day D caught these girls chatting shit about me and he came up to me and told me about them. we became friends and he'd always step in to defend me. after we became friends nobody dared to chat shit about me. everytime we crossed paths in the hallway he'd yell "YOOOOO" followed by "saaafe maan" and either do a thumbs up or a slow fist bump. he ended up asking me out one day but i said idk if I'm ready for a relationship and he was understanding about it. this was in like 2010 so it was a looong time ago. i hope wherever he is he's doing well

Context: UK passed this online safety act thing a few days ago (source) where you have to verify your age on sites that might contain nsfw content and the checks involve stuff like uploading a photo of your face, ID or even your passport. if anything it's just making people more unsafe (look what happened with the Tea app which required similar verification (source)). ain't gonna dox myself to the government/companies and it's easily circumvented using TOR lol. fuck da system🤘
