Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. - Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We saw her when she said she would do nothing about Adams.
Mamdani's plan to raise taxes would impact her, since she's rich. At least the Democrats keep showing who they really are when push comes to shove.
She's seriously using an affordability argument regarding the rich? She's inadvertently encouraging people to vote for him. Nice work, Hochul.
What a fucking cunt.
You’re out lady.
“I’m focused on affordability and raising taxes on anyone does not accomplish that,”
What a piece of shit. Saving people making a million dollars a year from taxes cannot remotely be classified as "focusing on affordability". That's such a bald-faced lie it's just offensive to the listener.
You misunderstood. She's focused on affordability for herself. How is she going to afford things if she can't get kickbacks from corpos and the rich for keeping taxes low?
Gov. Hochul and her husband declared a combined income of $1.5 million last year.
More like "slammed his plans to raise her taxes."
Hochul’s wait-and-see approach on Mamdani came after the Queens assemblyman bested former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in Tuesday’s Democratic mayoral primary – sending shockwaves across the nation and prompting soul-searching among moderate members of the party over its leftward drift.
No soul found here, apparently.
Changing things starts by getting rid of the two-party system.
Countries with multi-party systems aren't doing any better.
Changing things starts by doing literally anymore than sitting online and complaining.
Join the party and vote on primaries, volunteer for progressive candidates and don’t just wait around until they feed you Whatever candidate they picked when you weren’t paying attention
The rich assume many forms but can be identified readily when banding together with the other rich. Always ready to prey upon the poor and parasitize the government, the seemingly only means by which to stay rich, they form slimey pools and biofilms in places of power and seats of privilge that make it difficult to be rid of their pathogenicity.
too bad. She needs to go
Another traitor to throw on the pile.
