What on earth are you talking about? I cannot find a single piece of evidence for that anywhere. That line appears to be as fictional as Harry Potter. The closest thing I can find is this article saying that researchers had seen that there were less admissions to children hospitals during the publication weekend of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince.

Moreover, don't presume to know what I like and what I don't like simply by saying it's mediocre. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorite movies of all time and I quote it pretty regularly. It's not good. Clue I thoroughly love and also quote constantly. Terrible movie.

The author has made Harry Potter become associated with bigotry and transphobia. At least, it has a non zero relationship with it. So it’s important to remember that HP is only a set of stories to people privileged enough to be unaffected.
