I’ve been trying to get the sexual and physical abuse of children at a “hospital” investigated for more than a year now. I told OCCY that all they would need to do is go in and look at the camera footage, they told me that I should break in and get it myself.

In the year since I’ve started trying to get an investigation started, another child has died. (OCCY refuses to comply with Open Records Act requests on why a child died there in 2003… almost like they’re covering up something.)

What a great state! Imagine That!

Have you considered seeing if you can sue to force them to comply with the records request? I suspect a lawyer might even take this on pro-bono.

I couldn’t even get a lawyer in Oklahoma to help me after my ex husband tortured me and maxed out my credit cards lol. Oklahoma is a place where compassion does not exist.

I’ve also been turned down by at least 3 news agencies at this point. I’m starting to suspect there’s something more foul/corrupt at play.

He said he was having trouble breathing, and asked to go to a hospital. "Not today, maybe tomorrow," was the response.

Holy shit.

This wasn’t ruled as a murder, this wasn’t investigated, there were essentially zero consequences. No one prevented the people directing the facility from immediately opening up a new facility, this time private, so under absolutely no form of external monitoring. This is why I put in the Open Records Request - to this day the death is blamed on the boys he was attacked by/his medical condition.

I was molested at PC four years later, placed in a hold after I was attacked by two boys. When I reported this, I was accused of lying and diagnosed with “paranoid schizophrenia” and medicated accordingly. I do not have paranoid schizophrenia, I do have PTSD and symptoms of tardive dyskinesia (Due to insane doses of Resperdal; I have also had unexplained seizures as an adult.) I was forbidden from researching the medical conditions they diagnosed me with - I got in trouble for reading the DSM.

I've been involuntarily committed before. Sorry this happened to you.

It was literally in retaliation for being smart enough to know that my mom was forgetting to pick me up from school because she was drunk/high.

The school told me to cover up my parents alcoholism. I got punish for mentioning how much they drank.

Can you share your requests for filing?

High Pointe was a public facility which took in foster children. It was shut down by the state because it was unsafe - it was already under investigation before Jerry died, and I have heard horror stories from survivors.

Positive Changes was opened by the same individuals almost immediately after High Pointe was closed. They just figured out a loophole - private means that no one can regulate you apparently. There is not a single state agency with jurisdiction apparently.
