Mornin'. I find it humorous that often the people that live closest to work are often the ones that are consistently late. In this case he's also the youngest by decades.

And how diverse is the price of petrol right now. From $1.55 to $2.17 for E10. Bloody strange. I have the 7/11 app of course, but depending where I go I can still get it cheaper from some other supplier. ( Damn them for capping it at 25 cents max off )

And aaaah tis Friday. Ok, enjoy your days. X

Edit.

Also thank goodness that damn wind has died down. Anyway I wrote that first part that included the thing about one of our boys often being late at about 5:45 am. It's now 6:30 and he's running late, not here yet. Lol.

Second Edit. He turned up at 6:40. Jeepers.

Adding a small detail. We start at 6.

It is kind of wack. I get 10 cents off a litre (for now) if I fuel up at Ampol. However, the independent servo down the road is already cheaper, even with the 10 cent discount.

I locked in for $1.57 and got it earlier at $1.60 so saved a few cents. But many other places were $2.10

You use them as your electric provider for that discount? I do and I just got an email about their great upgrade of removing the 10c discount 😂

Nah, I use them because they were the cheapest energy provider for me. Haven't even bothered using the fuel discount yet.

trk's "wtf, driver" question of the day:

What's the deal with people who are sitting at traffic lights - not even at the front of the queue - who just randomly decide to drive forward a foot and then have to hit the brakes uncomfortably close to the car in front?

Its not like they're at the front of the queue and tweaked at a turning lane getting a green, or the light has gone green and the car(s) in front haven't moved yet or whatever... They just randomly decide to start driving? Even though there's nowhere to go?

Lots of people do it and I need to know why.

Distracted probably, taking their foot off the brake. Let's be real, probably checking their phone, but could also be fiddling with the climate control or stereo. Also day dreaming could be a culprit.

Or maybe, they want to simulate tailgating the vehicle in front of them.
