But also, don't put up with untoward shit or put yourself in a position of personal vulnerability. Be Picard, but be Worf, too.

If anything, Worf did the most putting himself in positions of personal vulnerability for the sake of family/honor 😁

I still remember the scene of Picard breaking down 30 or so years later. Some of the most powerful television I've ever watched.
