(seriously tho, I've seen some draconian helicopter parenting on reddit that supposedly happened, although idk if its ragebait or something)
That sort of thing isn't anything new. My grandpa made my dad burn his baseball cards because he thought they were becoming "idols."
I'm always amazed that my dad managed to rebuild their relationship later in life.
Sadly, that's the kind of parent I grew up with. Even if it is ragebait, it comes from a depressingly real place.

I feel it needs to be called out, that this is a joke, but the idea of doing this would be a horribly dysfunctional and bad idea of a family that does not have healthy relationships.

I deadass got honor level 4 after whining "Gg champ select" in an ARAM game. Rito cares not if youre sporting, just if people can take acreenshots that will negatively impact company image.
To that end, they actually disabled most cross team chat.
I read that as "online gambling" first and then realised they're often the same thing now that the videogame industry is full of pathetic losers with no morals whatsoever.
For some reason I read is as gambling too and didn't notice till I read your comment. Weird.
This is a bad punishment, because it implies that you as a parent made the mistake of giving your child a personal computer.
