My brand new dog escaped Saturday morning. Last night at like 2am, I captured him with an ingenious mousetrap (the game) style food-baited trap on my enclosed porch. I felt so ashamed and guilty when he slipped the leash and ran off. But I wanted to tell someone about the win. I can probably post a video too if anyone is interested, because I setup an old iPhone as a motion sensing video monitor so I was alerted when to spring the trap. He’s a very good boy, he’s just not used to domesticity yet.

Seasoned dog person here with some unsolicited advice you probably already know: it might be a good idea to try a harness instead. Some dogs have high anxiety, especially with something around their neck. A harness can feel to them like a good hoody feels to us, which can make them feel much more secure and comfortable on the leash. :)
I now have both
I'm interested! Glad you managed to get him back.
I got you
Uhmmm you did notice they teleported your dog and replaced him with an alien copy?
I did not 🤔
Been wanting to play d&d again :3 it's probably one of my biggest hyperfixations, but I haven't played in ages cause getting a group together is a pain.. other than that im just cooking chicken nuggies
Have you been playing in different groups? I could use a nuggie if you can spare one btw
I've played in like.. 2, but neither of them lasted particularly long
