I sure enjoyed the last few. A new elite spec will be nice as well. Might get me into playing a different class!
Looking forward to it. Especially for the elite specs. There are several good ones, but none of the current ones hit quite right for me yet.
Btw, I'd love to hear what about this expac specifically got you on GW hype train after so long.
Think this time was just right place, right time. A lot of retention mechanics are online now, like Wizard's Vault, and also having a cosmetic set that interested me to keep playing for a while (Astral Ward). Rerelease of LWS1 helped me feel connected to the story as opposed to having no idea who the new Destiny's Edge 2 crew was.
The sad thing is, after I bounced some time during the very first release of LWS1, I spent the following period constantly thinking "man, I wish this game was more like GW2". But I'm back now for good, and loving it!
LSW1 was really bad time to bounce off. I didn't replay the entirety of it yet, but they did fairly good job with it I think.

I'm looking forward to another legendary ring. I just made Conflux but just don't have the time to raid for Confluence.
Plus I'm interested in new Skimmer masteries. I always bee-line the mount masteries first.
I'm not sure if you know, you can craft and use two Conflux. The new Skimmer masteries have me interested as well!
Yeah I know but I need the skirmish claim tickets to finish out my light WvW set. And it still just felt wrong. Tbh I wanted the extra glowy ball from Confluence too although the new one probably won't have that.
Always looking forward to new content in GW, but I wish I had more time to play…
Same here. But it's the best MMO for taking breaks and most compatible with adult life.
I only play about 3-6 months out of the year lately and have taken multiple year+ breaks. It can be a bear getting back into it after 3-4 years staring at an inventory full of unrecognizable icons, but not remotely as bad as other MMOs.
And when you come back all of your gear is still relevant.

This and the fuckton of systems and content types piled one over the other. GW2 can be incredibly overwhelming for returning players.
Yup, same. Currently reading the 3 books on my commute to itch that scratch.
Glad to hear it, though i barely started Secrets of the Obscure yet, but it's always nice to have more content to look forward to!
