I would not have gotten through COVID lockdowns nearly as well without my dogs. I also was fortunate enough to switch to remote work during that time, so we got to spend a lot more time together. The extra time we've been given to hang out has proven beneficial to all 3 of us. It blows my mind, in a sad way, that I used to just leave them alone for 8-12 hours every day.

They seem like a dynamic duo. Are they different in size or is that just the perspective? How old are they?

They are very much a duo lol. They both love to rough house (despite the age difference) and will beat the crap out of each other and then curl up together and take a nap. Could not be more sisters. Black one is small and a bit over 1 year old (Jack Russell mix) and the brown one is a medium-sized hound/husky mix and just turned 9.

Jack Russell mix
hound/husky mix

Aww, never a dull moment with that combination, I imagine. But I bet they are good girls. Give them my warmest regards and some head skritchins!

Every day we rot! Our flesh becomes more and more... broken. It degrades, Douglath! For flesh is only temporary, but the love of a dog is eternal.

Whoever said you can't hold on to happiness has never hugged a dog.

For maximum happiness, train yourself not to be bothered by being woken up by the sound of retching right next to your pillow.

Here's my stray - is it legitimate to make this a dog pic thread?

aren't bot accounts supposed to be labeled?

[-] ptz@dubvee.org 15 points 10 months ago

OP is the top admin of Beehaw. And what about this post implies bot-like behavior?

And what about this post implies bot-like behavior?

that incredible attention to detail he put into posting the link...

[-] ptz@dubvee.org 14 points 10 months ago

That's just Lemmy-UI trying, unsuccessfully, to pull the metadata from the posted link. Some sites, Axios being one of them, tend to block cloud VPS IP addresses or put them behind a CloudFlare interstitial (which is what's shown in your screenshot). It is something Lemmy-UI does, not OP. On other Lemmy UIs, that's not shown.

and that is why it seems bot-like, because when you do it manually, you can just write your own caption...

Feel free to submit a bug report in the appropriate venue: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues

why would i submit bug report? it seems to be working as intended, lazy use of a tool is not a bug.

Pretty self explanatory. Post animals, post pets, post stuff about animals and pets!

(It's not mandatory, but we also encourage providing a description of your image(s) for accessibility purposes! See here for a more detailed explanation and advice on how best to do this.)
