I would not have gotten through COVID lockdowns nearly as well without my dogs. I also was fortunate enough to switch to remote work during that time, so we got to spend a lot more time together. The extra time we've been given to hang out has proven beneficial to all 3 of us. It blows my mind, in a sad way, that I used to just leave them alone for 8-12 hours every day.

Dog Tax

Every day we rot! Our flesh becomes more and more... broken. It degrades, Douglath! For flesh is only temporary, but the love of a dog is eternal.

Whoever said you can't hold on to happiness has never hugged a dog.

For maximum happiness, train yourself not to be bothered by being woken up by the sound of retching right next to your pillow.
