A bit of an old photo, this was my #1 for a couple years, extensively modded SE Custom 24 Floyd. The Floyd has since been replaced with a Gotoh GE1996T.

Looks beautiful! How did you go about selecting your pick ups? Im looking at modifying my Gibson SGJ to see if I can get some new sounds out of it and wanted to know if you had any ideas.

Pretty much all of the choices made with regards to this guitar were in pursuit of versatility. For pickups, that meant finding humbuckers with great coil split tones. I was going to go with P-Rails initially, but my mind was changed as soon as I heard the coil splits on these. You could put them in just about anything and convince people they were hearing a Telecaster

Absolutely beautiful! Did you replace the stock pickups?

Thanks, I did replace the pickups, Fishman Fluence Classics are what you see.

That's a very nice looking guitar. Did you have to route it to make it fit? Did you add the two toggle switched yourself or are they stock? They look a placed a bit different from what I've seen before.

I'm a huge fan of my SE but your tops looks another level.

I added the switches, yes. There was plenty of room in the cavity for them, I just had to drill the holes. There are sort of two versions of the Custom 24, those with blade switches and those with toggle switches, for their pickup selectors. This type of switch configuration is typical for 24-08s with blade switches, there just isn't quite as much space between the tone knob and pickup selector with these Floyd Rose SE models, so it's a bit more cramped.
