Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

In almost any other generation I would have been practically forced into a loveless marriage, kept as an essential prisoner at home only as a cleaner, a sex toy, and a raiser of my husband's children.

Yeah, I was born in the right generation, if only just barely. (The social pressure to procreate was still very high.)

Yep absolutely. Husband beats you? Be a better wife. Want independence? Ask your husband if you can join a local knitting group. We've been property for so long

If i had been born 40 years earlier, I would have had the "honour" to die for Hitler's madness. 30 years earlier than that, for Kaiser Willy Zwo. So thank you, I'll take my chances with the here and now

I probably wouldn't have made it past age 3

Hmmm, its mostly dependant upon generation, but by and large i would have been beaten as a child for being too much to handle, and probably institutionalized later.
