Hard to tell but wouldn’t be difficult to strip down and clean up the parts for rebuild or selling.

Probably tossed because of clogged parts that are easily fixed or replaced. I’d grab them and clean it up. Go from there.

I'd take them because there are a lot of useful parts. Repairing them might be pricey but will probably be worth it for their size
