During the buildup of troops in England prior to the invasion of Normandy, there was a discipline problem, as Britain refused to introduce segregation to accommodate American “values”. Consequently Black soldiers (who were on lesser pay compared to white GIs but more than British Tommys) were welcomed into British pubs on an equal basis. When American military police tried to forcibly remove them, it wasn’t unheard of for the locals to beat up the white GIs in defence of the black soldiers. There were even shootouts. British pubs have a long history of putting Americans in their place for their backward beliefs.

I wish Americans on American soil had these kind of balls.

They do? Did you miss the huge protests currently happening? The Teslas being defaced? The pierogies denied? People freaking out in town halls? The sandwiches thrown? The entire movement of Fed Workers literally doing this and more? Hellllllllllooooo? If you don't see American resistance, then the way you get news has been compromised FYI

threatened not to show up for work if the restaurant booked his reservation.

OK, you're fired. There's 27 people standing in line to do your less than minimum wage job. Oh wait, we deported all of them...

Restaurants are always short staffed and a single person quitting usually fucks them up for a week. Losing 5 staffers can straight up kill a restaurant if they are going through a slow period.

I've rarely in my life agreed with something more than i agree with that statement

The Daily Mail reported it as “Woke staff….”. Of course they did.

Everything I don't like is woke!

My divorce is woke as hell

Lord Rothermere was a friend of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, and directed the Mail's editorial stance towards them in the early 1930s.[66][67]

Reminder that the Daily Mail has always been pro-fascism.

For daring to see the couch fucker for who he really is.

So woke is good now then!

IIRC woke was just good (meaning you are awake to new things), before it got plastered onto leftists/LGBT

We need this energy in the US. None of these ghouls should be able to get any goods and services anywhere. I recall seeing the crowd boo when he went to a play, but I didn’t see a headline like “play canceled “ or “vance forced to leave after audience refused to stop booing “. It’s not enough to let them know that they are hated, they need a full on shunning. They need actual consequences.

Yes. There should be no public spaces available to these ghouls. They don't see us as people.

It's because MAGA and the wealthy are trying to squash all stories of resistance. There's been significant resistance in the US and by US citizens.

Too bad republicans lack guilt or shame. There's no reflection, only finger pointing. It is a symptom of their ailments 🥔

See that's the stuff founding fathers were made of.

When workers unite, the powerful get their ass kicked.
