I did this frequently when younger without issue. Fucking insane.
Ridiculous. I used to ride 5 miles each way to school for years on some really busy roads. I can’t say that I’d be happy to do that again with all the cellphone distractions drivers engage in these days, but a kid walking less than a mile to a store shouldn’t be a problem unless they’re walking on a freeway or something.
I wouldn't let my kid walk alone in that gun infested shithole country with murderous cops that also handcuff children or pepper spray them
