Starting next year, Google will begin to verify the identities of developers distributing their apps on Android devices, not just those who distribute via the Play Store.

These assholes deleted my verified play store account because my app s didn't need updates. They really are trying to build a closed trash heap.

Another excuses from goolag to create their walled garden on Android OS. That means it will be more difficult to install .apk from f-droid or from other sources.

We desperately need a real open source mobile OS.

It won’t apply to GrapheneOS. It only applies to certified OSes and GrapheneOS is not certified because it doesn’t license Google Mobile Services.
