Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I went to an all girl's school which was fucking awful, nasty environment. Disordered eating was a way of life and I honestly believed it was normal to purge after eating and restrict food intake.

Oh, wow! That's ... awful! 😱

Yep, it really was. Institutionalised.

A little more mundane than most, I guess, but I never thought twice in my entire life about eating noodles for breakfast. Or other such "lunch" and "dinner" things in the west. It took me going to a camp-out to realize that breakfast cereal was actually a thing. (I'd always thought it was candy when passing it in the grocery store.)

Honestly, with the amounts of sugar in it, most cereals are pretty much candy.

Period pain that made it difficult to focus on regular activities. Also that any obgyn could treat endometriosis.

Used to feel guilty for saying no. (I'm fully locked into my rebel phase now and I'm not sorry 💅 )
