it seems that the decoupling w china that trump/biden wanted is happened with or without intention.

Well its reverse sided to what was "wanted" as now there is potentially an actual trade deficit that matters as we still buy/produce from China but they don't buy/produce from us.

the trump tariff thing was an attempt to manufacture leverage that's backfiring and to the benefit of the future world... presuming that trump's successor isn't more deranged than trump is.

trump and vance are just figure heads and i suspect that they'll be replaced in the next election due to their unpopularity, but their successors will push whatever the US empire wants nonetheless and decoupling w china is part-and-parcel to it.
