A shooter opened fire Wednesday morning during Mass at a Minneapolis Catholic school, killing two children and injuring 17 other people before killing himself, officials said.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the shooter — armed with a rifle, shotgun and pistol — approached the side of the church and shot through the windows toward the children sitting in the pews during Mass at the Annunciation Catholic School.

Why do people even think this form of unrest ever amounts to anything? Has anyone ever been like "hey, [insert identity here] are causing all this random death, suddenly I feel motivated to sympathize with whatever their unspoken issue with the world is"?

Is it not more of a wicked release than it is a lobbying of minds that these mad shooters are looking for?

In a plot twist a Fox News anchor suddenly started advocating for gun control.

But really though, with America on its full Fascism course, this seems like the absolute worst time to advocate for gun control. Just take the school shootings for granted at this point.

I hear this a lot from all sides, but how do people actually think civilians with guns are going to fare against government enforcers who would inevitably be better armed? They never tell us that part.

With an insurgency. That the US govt has never been good defeating.

I will say this is ONLY in proper war. We're damn good at putting down insurgencies in foreign nations when it's the CIA doing it and we don't have to worry about public perception of things like death squads and gunning down civilians in the streets and depopulating whole villages to send a message.

It's really easy to suppress an insurgency if you simply don't care about painting the streets with blood. I feel that this admin MIGHT NOT care about that if push came to shove.

Even though only one has succeeded?
