This. It's not "journalistic integrity", the way Hegseth has worded things, this prevents outlets from spinning or telling half the story. It's literally back to WWII press - here is the story from the War Department, you may print this and nothing else, with no editorializing.

So atrocious that the Spanish crown literally was going to execute him for how atrocious he was.. Columbus was only saved because he was good friends with Isabella.

Nah, the GOP will just "clarify" that rights only exist once you're 18 or so, and so kids are actually totally fine to kill so long as it's your kid.

I feel like "unconsenting gynecological procedures" just translates to them forcibly sterilizing women.

You know, like we used to do to Black women, Native women, Japanese women...

I almost forgot about the storyline for FFX because I played so much blitzball.

This is also an administration that I do not think would have a problem arranging the deaths of any serviceman who decides not to follow orders, legal or extralegal.

And may or may not be directly connected to at least one murder.

From what we've seen of him playing Path of Exile, basically, yeah. As expected from most rich assholes, he wants the prestige of being good at a game, but wants to shortcut the whole part in between where you're not good YET.

Yes, but as Vance said: clearly crime is rising everywhere because it's SO GREAT and these PDs are SO OVERWHELMED or derelict in their duties that they're NOT EVEN TRACKING crime properly.

It's literal fascist doublethink.

I've seen comparisons to the Black Tom incident in WWI, where the Germans sabotaged an explosives factory in the US that was making shells for the English war effort. Interested to see if Russian sabotage jumped from just Europe.

Our company orders a lot of stuff from overseas manufacturers because it's highly specialized precision equipment. One department is currently locked in a nightmare with customs wanting not just manufacturing sources for each component of this equipment, but they want raw-material sources for each component as well. So not just "where was this manufactured", but "where was the steel for this poured".

It's been a month of chasing down these things for every single component, down to individual screws, bolts, and pins.
